Position Overview:
This position offers the best of vehicle hauling, minus the late-night calls and roadside assists. Applicants should expect a full-time position with occasional overtime available. Vehicle recoveries and deliveries are made primarily at customer facilities within a 25-mile radius of the company’s headquarters in Romulus, MI.

DST Global Services is a dedicated Tier 1 supplier to Ford Motor Company. DST Global Services manages all of Ford’s marketing preproduction vehicles. In addition to fleet management, DSTGS also provides advertising car prep services, vehicle logistics, specialized paint services and manages the Vehicle Recovery Services (VRS) program on behalf of Ford.

CDL – A Driver Responsibilities:

• Valid CDL-A Driver’s License (with medical card).
  • Insurable by company’s insurance standards.
• Satisfactory background & criminal history check.
• Preemployment drug screening.

CDL-A Driver Qualifications:

• Proven consistent work history.
• Must demonstrate safe equipment operation.
• Excellent attendance and work performance record.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work overtime as needed including last minute requests.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift over 50lbs, work overhead, kneel, squat, or work from compromising positions for short periods of time.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, processes, and guidelines without deviation.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Safely load/unload vehicles in a multitude of trailer types
• Travel within the guidelines of the DOT, within the continental United States
• Assist in event load-in/Load-out
• Service events, including onsite support for:
  • Photo Events, including still photography and videography
  • Drive Events
  • Auto Shows and other display events
• Communicate with customers
• Assist productions to resolve logistical, mechanical, or other issues.
• Safeguard show vehicles from potential damage while on location

  • Straight Time for all hours worked M-F (Up to 40 hours)
