Job Description:
As the Warehouse and Operations Manager at Go Green Flooring, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, and accuracy. You will manage the daily activities of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, receiving. You will ensure that materials are properly prepared and ready for outgoing jobs, contributing to the seamless execution of our projects. Additionally, this job requires weekly trips to Denver in Copany vehicle for pickups and deliveries. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of service and quality that our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including, receiving, storing, inventory management, and shipping of products.
- Ensure that materials and products are accurately prepared and ready for jobs that go out, coordinating closely with the project management team.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery.
- Monitor and improve warehouse processes to reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (RM) to track inventory and operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Will Consider other forms of experience and education.
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or operations, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
