What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Shift Quality Control Lead position at Gokoh Coldwater, Inc?
Gokoh Coldwater Inc. (aka GCI) is a leading tier two supplier of sand cores for the automotive industry. We manufacture cores for casting of brake rotors and water passages. We are seeking a candidate to fill a Quality Control Lead position for our Quality Department on our Night Shift, M-Thurs.
Full Time First Shift – with Occasional Overtime

Basic Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performs quality control inspections, checks & tests during manufacturing of product.
- Coach and motivate employees to do well.
- Maintain & update paperwork.
- Keep area clean at all times.
- Training new Inspectors and Quality Auditors
- Covering all areas of Quality Dept., Quality Auditor, Inspection process, and Forklift if needed.
- Rework/Hold Area
- 5s
Requirements:
- Pushing, pulling & repetitive motion
- Standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work within a team
Experience (but not necessary):
- Forklift
- Quality Experience
Motivated Individuals with good attendance, a positive attitude and good work ethic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
