SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Golden Dog Title is seeking a Funder-Post Closer to assist with activities related to our closing documents serving our parent company, Dream Finders Homes, Inc. (NASDAQ: DFH), owner of Coventry Homes, Inc. This position will be responsible for reviewing all completed and signed closing documents for accuracy, funding the file, post closing the file, and issuance of title policies for the file. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of title and escrow processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive file after closing and review all the documents to make sure all signed, dated and notarized correctly.
- Upload the
- Review legal description on title, mortgage, deed and survey to make sure that all match.
- Post all outgoing wires and make sure all deposits have been posted and the file balances; assist in cutting checks in Softpro.
- Prepare a cover sheet for lender package and recording package.
- Place the documents in the correct order and make all necessary copies.
- Federal Express package to lender.
- Assist with recording preparation, recording and posting payments in Simplifile.
- Make copies of all invoices and checks and mail them out accordingly.
- Prepare and send final endorsements and/or title policies, work with underwriter for issuance of policies for home office issuance counties.
- Monitor files for post-closing requirement matters (ex: partial releases and/or satisfactions).
- Assist in curative resolutions of title matters.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE:
- Previous Title & Escrow experience.
- High school diploma is required.
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and customer focused.
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and critical thinking.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- SoftPro experience is an advantage

Compensation: $42,000 to $55,000
Salary : $42,000 - $55,000
