Race & Sportsbook Supervisor

Overview

Supervise and manage all areas of the Race & Sports Book, including ticket writers. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. - Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

Responsibilities

• Bookmaking abilities, which includes maintaining and moving games lines, updating futures odds for specified events, balancing all games and events.
• Supervising all ticket writers.
• Setting up and posting all sporting events.
• Maintaining all video screens for horse racing, games, etc.
• Updating and maintaining all customer sheets.
• Assisting Golden Nugget customers and answering all questions.
• Opening and closing the Race & Sports Book each day.
• Able to speak and so radio spots if needed.
  
  

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Bookmaking experience, which includes the ability to move game lines and update futures.
• Able to work well with fellow Supervisors and ticket writers.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results
• Possess Nevada gaming license or be able to successfully register with the Nevada gaming Board.
• Be able to work all shifts and all days of the week.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
