We hold walk-in interviews daily Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm at 917 Clocktower, Suite 560 in Springfield, IL. $17 per hr 40 per week
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Staff member to join our team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our residents and staff. job is at a nursing facility all day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are cleaned regularly
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and protocols
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift to 25 pounds
Work Hours & Benefits: This part-time position requires a commitment of 8 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 7:00 PM. We offer a competitive hourly wage, a supportive work environment, and a comprehensive benefits package.
