Golf Ranch is a trailblazing brand of tech-enabled golf driving ranges. Through the acquisition and transformation of existing businesses, we are building a new category for the game called 'Golf Lite', bridging the gap between Entertainment Golf and Traditional Golf. Golf Ranch provides a relaxed and welcoming environment to practice, improve, and compete with friends. We currently have 4 unique locations in Texas, Missouri, and Connecticut and are looking to expand rapidly.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a hard-charging leader to join our team as Head of Acquisitions. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading new unit expansion for the company through the acquisition of existing driving range businesses. Specifically, this role will oversee the entire acquisitions process from deal sourcing through closing. This role is ideal for someone independent, competitive, resilient, and good at building relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Sourcing: Identify potential acquisition targets through a variety of channels, including direct outreach, broker networks and industry connections.
Pipeline Management: Effectively track and nurture a large list of potential acquisition targets to enable speed and execution of rollout plan.
Evaluation & Due Diligence: Evaluate potential opportunities through market research, financial underwriting, operational reviews, and competitive set analysis.
Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations with sellers to structure deals that align with our strategic and financial goals.
Transaction Management: Oversee the transaction process, working closely with legal, financial, and development teams to mitigate risk and ensure timely and successful execution.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with brokers, advisors, and other deal sources to create a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities.
Industry Awareness: Stay up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to inform acquisition strategy.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years experience in M&A and/or transaction-related real estate
- Proven track record of managing and executing a deal pipeline
- Fast-paced with a bias for action
- Results-driven with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships
Salary : $125,000 - $200,000
