FT/PT - $50 to $60 an hour
PRN - $65 to $70 an hour

The Speech Therapist evaluates and treats residents and patients with temporary or long-term speech, hearing, swallowing and cognitive disabilities in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
You will:
- Plans and administers medically prescribed speech therapy treatment for patients with speech, language, and swallowing problems.
- Evaluates speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors.
- Reviews referral, physician’s orders, patient's condition, and medical records to determine speech therapy treatment indicated. Accepts physician orders regarding speech therapy services.
- Performs initial patient evaluation before initiating therapy. Performs and documents OASIS assessments at appropriate time points.
- Plans and prepares written treatment plans based on evaluation of patient data in conjunction with the physician, patient, and caregiver(s).
- Plan direct or conduct rehabilitative treatment plans to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic and non-organic etiology.
- Other duties as requested.
You currently:
- Education and/or Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of speech pathology and language disorders.
- Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the Washington State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
