Essential Job Duties:
- Coordinates with the manager for the development, implementation and enforcement of patient. billing and follow up policies and procedures in support of organizational strategic goals.
- Monitors and translates third party payer changes to products to meet quality standards.
- Utilizes software to make continuous improvements to reimbursement rates and billing practices.
- Utilizes professional skills to interview, hire and evaluate patient accounting staff; maintains Competency of staff through internal and external training.
- Optimizes patient accounts staff by effectively deploying resources to meet operating goals.
- Streamlines process to support staff in exceeding expectations and communicates those results to staff.
- Protects patients right by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned.
Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:
- Performs duties of staff reporting to their supervisor.
- Utilizes communication and customer service skills for patient concern resolution.
Job Specifications:
- Education: High School graduate
- Experience: Knowledge of software applications and administrative and clerical procedures. Proficient in spelling, grammar, punctuation and other languages skills. Proficient in keyboarding.
