Under the direction of the Continuous Improvement Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for preparing product samples, developing job aids, assisting maintenance staff with troubleshooting equipment, developing solutions to recurring equipment issues, communicating with the equipment suppliers on repairs and or new equipment solutions, conducting regular visual line checks to insure proper dating, labeling and packaging of product.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Developing job aids, assisting co packer maintenance staff troubleshooting equipment, developing solutions to recurring equipment issues, conducting regular visual line checks to insure proper dating, labeling, and packaging of product.
- Ensure safety and quality are top priorities
- Helps keep track of equipment downtime and behavior through data collection.
- Travels between plants to assist with unexpected equipment downtime that threatens production completion.
- Meets with lower-level plant leadership to help improve quality or production KIPs through continuous improvement.
- Works closely with manager to assist with line improvement projects or processes.
- Travel out of state to assist additional co-packers or assembly partners.
- Assist with coordinating repair and PM activities to reduce impact to production demands, including creating purchase orders.
Education/Experience
Required:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry, yields, and production processes.
- Minimum of three (3) years of production maintenance in a manufacturing operation, or an equivalent.
Preferred:
- Associates/technical degree preferred.
