Description
SUMMARY
Oversees the technology environment ensuring equipment, network accounts and technology documentation is in place to support the technological needs of the agency by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important.
Provides support for the agency resolving technology related problems effecting the usability, accessibility, and security of computers, servers and systems.
Administers Active Directory, managing user accounts, security groups, organizational units, and other objects to ensure security and accuracy of directory is maintained.
Administers Exchange Server, establishes email accounts, email groups, and shared resources.
Administers Microsoft 365 manages Azure AD, multifactor authentication, security policies, and other tools to support the organization as needed.
Manages device life cycles for computers, phones, printers, scanners, POS stations, docks, and other equipment in use by the organization.
Leads the deployment of technology additions and moves and changes allocating IT and other organization resources as needed.
Administers telephone system, adds, changes, and maintains phone groups and systems documentation.
Provides new user training during equipment setup and provides documentation / User guides on endpoint devices use throughout their life cycle.
Administers print servers including adding, relocating, and removing printers, queues, and device security settings.
Administers Windows Deployment Server creating new system images, new boot images, and updating current images with latest patches and security updates.
Researches, recommends, deploys, maintains, and supports technology devices including tablets, computers, printers, and other organization technology devices.
Manages technology purchases, coordinates with the Director of Technology Services, gathers equipment requirements, ensures orders are placed, and verifies received equipment.
Researches, recommends, deploys, and maintains accessibility technology to meet the needs of technology users ensuring team members and participants have required accessibility tools in place.
Manages and maintains inventory of end user computing devices, including mobile phones, computers, printers, and projectors.
Installs software and updates to ensure computer systems meet the requirements of the organization.
Runs wiring, installs, and connects new equipment into existing network.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Works as a member of the IT technical support team and on-call team.
Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by the Director, Technology Services.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Data Systems Analysis or related field and five years' experience providing technical support; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License (Class C), car insurance and reliable automobile required.
