Goodwill Southern California is Hiring a Lead Stocker Near Los Angeles, CA

Primary Responsibility / SummaryPerforms a full range of stocking and staging services; stages materials to facilitate restocking of Commissary store shelves with product. Serves as Lead Stocker with specialized skills in Chilled and Frozen merchandising.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesServes as primary point of communication between supervisors and stockers, providing guidance on special requirements for stocking chilled and frozen merchandise, as well as all other store products.Locates and moves materials and product between work areas of the Commissary to expedite stocking of goods, according to predetermined templates, schedules and priorities, and keeps related records.Stocks and cleans store shelves; keeps aisles clear of boxes and stocking residue.Assists in keeping store stock available and stocks products in correct shelf locations.Properly rotates product, being alert to expiration dates. Timely removes expiring merchandise to avoid assessment of penalties.Interacts cooperatively with Government Commissary personnel and customers.Immediately advises supervisor when Government staff directs any changes in contractual requirements.Additional Duties & Responsibilities Other Commissary-related duties and special projects as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.
