Description
Base Warehouseman – Responsible for operating packaging lines and basic warehousing duties. The duties associated with these jobs are ensuring the lines run efficiently by supplying corrugation and caps to the packaging equipment, making minor adjustments to equipment, general quality checks and SPC throughout the process, and warehousing finished packaged products.
The physical activities would include extended periods of standing, occasionally bending and lifting 25 pound cases and 35 pound pails, and forklift operation.
Shipper – Responsible for loading and unloading freight transports with packaged products and raw materials via a forklift. Also responsible for staging shipments and hauling and warehousing finished packaged products.
Pumper - Responsibilities include transferring liquid lubricants by means of transfer hoses and pumps. Many duties are associated with this operation. Responsibilities also include correctly hooking up hoses to tank manifolds and the dumping of drummed additives into mixing kettles via a drum crane. Pumpers would also be responsible for loading finished products into bulk transports, as well as unloading products from tank trucks and tank cars. The pumper is also responsible for correctly calculating quantity percentages as well as temperature corrections and other general statistical process control techniques, including the sampling of products throughout the process to ensure quality integrity. 260 Pound weight capacity on fall restraints.
Qualifications
