GPAC is Hiring a Primary Care Physician Near Tumwater, WA
Local office looking for a Primary Family care Physician MD to provide quality care and help expand the scope of business. Office is not looking for a candidate in residency at this time, this position is urgent and needs to be filled immediately.
Position Summary Provides comprehensive medical services for members of family, regardless of age or sex within scope of training. Services include: Preventative care, immunizations, primary care and treatment, health education, Prescribing of medications, ordering and interpreting lab testing, physical examinations, STD screenings, Vision/hearing, women’s health, family planning, prenatal services, nutrition. The mission of the practice is to provide medical, dental and mental health services to all persons.
Daily Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses and address health maintenance. Physicians examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. You often counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Medical Degree (MD, DO)
- Family Practice Residency training Experience: (Required) • Within scope of training
- Familiar with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Basic computer skills
Licensure/Certification:
- WA Medical License, DEA Certificate
- Board certified or Board eligible within three year of residency training
