THE POSITION 

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Finance to join our growing team and shepherd our financial strategy through the next phase of our growth. We are seeking a true partner and fourth member of the management team, someone who is comfortable seeking out M&A deals and has a deep understanding of go-to-market strategies. We’ll look to you as the expert for all financial matters and will expect you to leverage your pre-existing relationships with banks and investment bankers to help us achieve our goals and the goals of our customers. 

THE CANDIDATE 

As Director of Finance, you will provide the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational and administrative controls, reporting procedures, and people systems in place to grow the organization effectively. You will be the primary driver of financial strength and operational efficiency for the company. Candidates with prior experience working in Information Technology, IT Managed Services, or Media and Entertainment environments will receive preferential consideration for this position. 

Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work collaboratively with the CEO and the other functional heads to establish the strategic plan for the business, annual operating objectives, organizational policies, and procedures for attaining business objectives 

• Establish financial priorities for each department, create forward-looking operational plans to address department-specific priorities, and create and monitor metrics that measure performance 

• Oversee the company’s financial and cash management operations and reporting to ensure stability and growth, further define operating drivers of the company's key financial metrics, set appropriate targets, and then drive departments to exceed those goals 

• Oversee cash management activities and remain fully apprised of balance sheet actions and decisions 

• Provide expert advice, oversee the development, and execute the company's financial strategic plan 

• Work with vendors and distributors to negotiate beneficial terms, lines of credit, and procurement strategies most beneficial to our company 

• Understand the M&A landscape in our industry and be comfortable positioning the company in any way necessary to achieve goals. 

• Bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Accounting, Finance, or Business are preferred. Minimum of 20 years of experience. CPA designation preferred. 

Job Type: Full-time 

Compensation and Benefits: 

• The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 per year. The actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills, and performance.
