JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services designed to maintain the resident's physical and emotional well-being for those residents living at Grace Assited Living. This position assists residents with tasks of daily living as indicated on the Service Agreement, the Medication administration Record (MAR), and services as delegated by the RN.
We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA)/Caregiver to join our team. As an HHA/Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals with disabilities and dementia living in our Assisted Living Facility
Duties:
1. Personal Care Assistance: Helping residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
2. Medication Management: Ensuring residents take their medications on time and in the correct dosages.
3. Nutritional Support: Preparing meals and assisting with feeding, while considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
4. Mobility Assistance: Helping residents move around safely, whether it’s getting out of bed, using a wheelchair, or walking.
5. Housekeeping: Performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
6. Emotional Support: Providing companionship, listening to residents’ stories, and offering emotional support.
7. Health Monitoring: Keeping an eye on residents’ health, noting any changes, and communicating with RN or medical staff as needed.
8. Charting and Documenting: Understanding procedures regarding home care tasks and charting procedure when performing these tasks.
9. HIPAA and Regulations: Working to assure facility is following federal, state and local standards and regulations.
Experiences and Skills
- Prior experience in caregiving or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care practices are a plus
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients
- Proficiency in administering medications accurately
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
