KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Grace Kids Coordinator will create an environment in which Chaska Grace Kids ministry is executed with excellence and care. This role will implement a ministry geared towards ages 6 weeks to 12 years old that is Jesus-centered, safe, and fun while building caring and pastoral relationships with families and volunteers. They will be responsible for:
- Effectively contribute to, communicate, and champion the vision for Grace Church, Grace Kids, and NXT Gen ministries.
- Collaborate with Grace Kids Staff regarding strategy and execution of Grace Kids.
- Execute all tasks necessary to prepare for, deliver, and follow-up after Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Grace Kids programming.
- Collaboration with Grace Kids Staff for department-wide events and programming (E.g. Backyard VBS, Children’s Worship, Holiday services, family events, etc.).
- Ensure classroom supplies and equipment are functional and shared with all ministries.
- Aid in recruiting and onboarding Grace Kids disciplers.
- Organize and oversee all supplies and resources for Grace Kids Programming.
- Assist with church-wide events in Chaska and Pocatello as assigned.
- Support and manage weekly prep volunteers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS
- Education preferred (not required): Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience preferred (not required): 2 years of experience in roles involving the key duties, responsibilities, and expectations of the position.
- Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Exhibits a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
- Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with integrity.
Salary : $21 - $23
