Our Delivery Associates play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of organizational products and home essentials to/from our teams’ projects. They also go the extra mile to confirm all product and household items are delivered as ordered and damage-free!

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute delivery and pickup of sourced items, ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Drive accuracy and efficiency in the transportation process by double-checking project details, delivery addresses, and optimizing routes for timely arrivals.
• Perform quality control checks on received items, thoroughly inspecting for defects or damage; handle all products with care to prevent damage during transit.
• Ensure all items meet Graceful Spaces standards and specifications, efficiently and effectively communicating issues and coordinating resolution with the Product & Special Services Manager during the same working shift.
• Wear company-issued uniform (business casual) when representing Graceful Spaces.
• Maintain professional communication with the Graceful Spaces team and our vendors.
• Participate in weekly 1:1 team development meetings with P&SS Manager for ongoing evaluation of role processes and procedures.
• Work independently approximately 70% of the time.

Adhere to assigned schedule and consistently meet delivery and return deadlines; failure to comply with the company’s attendance policy, including consistent punctuality, will result in disciplinary action and potential termination of employment.

Physical & Travel Requirements:

Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds, climb stairs, and safely use a step stool or small ladder. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while in transit. Must be able to tolerate typical household odors (pets, dust, smoke, and fragrances) - we do not work in excessively dirty or unsafe homes. Must dress in assigned uniform and abide by the company dress code and personal appearance policies while representing Graceful Spaces.

This role is based in Austin, TX. Approximately 70% of product pickup will be within the Austin Arboretum area; product delivery will require traveling within Austin and the surrounding area (up to 60-mile radius). Associates must have a reliable vehicle (sedan or larger preferred) and access to hands-free communication. Associates will be required to maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance on their personal vehicle at all times. Graceful Spaces is not liable for traffic violations, parking tickets, or loss/damage of any personal vehicles or property incurred during contracted working hours. Working tasks may not be interrupted or divided to accommodate personal errands. No additional passengers are allowed during work-related activities. Company property or product may not be stored in personal vehicles overnight or for longer than a 2-hour period of time.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills in order to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet assigned delivery deadlines.
• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in product procurement.
• Competent driver proficient in using Google Maps (or alternate map app) to navigate between various vendors and team projects.
• Collaborative mindset to work closely with the team to ensure success of each project.
• Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and comfortable working on an iPad.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
