About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Static Stress Analysis Cabin Interior Stress Engineer to join our team in Mobile, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and solid mechanics, with hands-on experience in FE model creation, linear/non-linear static stress analysis, and the development of DFEM models. You will work closely with customers, ensuring high-quality deliverables while contributing to the development of innovative methodologies for aircraft cabin interiors.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with customers to understand and meet project requirements.
- Deliver high-quality substantiating reports, delivery notes, and stress dossiers.
- Develop and validate DFEM models.
- Conduct linear and non-linear static stress analysis and mitigation of RF and change proposals.
- Proactively approach customers to address their needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in FE modeling and analysis using tools like NASTRAN/PATRAN.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft loads and static stress analysis.
- Familiarity with development methodologies for analysis and validation.
- Excellent communication and planning skills.
