About the Role
In this role, you will :
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update maintenance manuals, structural repair manuals, and other technical publications.
- Create flight documents such as Airplane Flight Manuals and Pilot’s Operating Handbooks.
- Conduct quality checks of documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Use tools like SGML/XML, Arbortext, and Adobe FrameMaker in an authoring environment.
- Collaborate with engineers and customer service representatives to validate procedures.
Qualifications:
- Degree in an aviation-related field preferred or equivalent experience in technical documentation.
- Experience with SGML/XML, Arbortext, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, operations, and maintenance practices.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering data.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Pilot’s license, A&P license, or military aviation experience a plus.
