I have an immediate need for an in-home 4th/5th grade math tutor in Sacramento. Mom woul prefer an active or retired elementary school teacher as a tutor. Her son is on the spectrum and has an IEP.

He will be going into 5th grade this fall at Arnold Adreani Elementary. He wants to work with a tutor for math. He struggles a lot with math and is feeling completely lost with the subject. He lacks confidence in his skills and he struggles with fundamental concepts covered in previous grades, which has made this year (4th grade) challenging.

His goal is to understand the material covered over the previous year and to be prepared for 5th grade math. They have material to work with for summer.

Mom wants 2 hour sessions 4 times a week. They are available Tuesday through Saturday from 1pm-4pm.

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work at student's home in north east Sacramento near the Khaira Walking Trail by the Silver Springs North neighborhood.
• Tutor must be available for 2 hours sesssions 4 days a week anyday Tuesday through Saturday between 1pm-4pm.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
