I have an immediate need for an in-person 2nd grade ELA tutor in Southern Pines to meet at the Southern Pines Public Library. The student is in 2nd grade attending West End Elementary School. She needs to work with a tutor for assistance with reading and writing.

The student possibly has dyslexia and is struggling with her reading and writing. She is behind and her parents need to get her caught back up.

She has a hard time focusing in class and needs the one-on-one attention focusing on the areas that she is weak.

The goals are for her to strengthen her ELA foundation in all areas and prepare her for years to come. The sessions will work off the materials that she has each week. The family is also open to providing materials that the tutor thinks will be effective.

The family wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week. They are available Monday through Thursday from 3pm-6pm and Friday from 3pm-5pm.

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work face-to-face at the Southern Pines Public Library.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)

FRI 3pm-5pm
