Work Experience Program Consultant

This job, reporting to the Work Experience Manager, plays a key role in shaping and enhancing the overall work experience within Grady Health System. Responsible for analyzing employee engagement and experience data, identifying areas for improvement, and advocating actionable solutions to foster a positive work environment, the Program Consultant will focus on our organization-wide engagement, recognition, and inclusion initiatives and other key projects and programs to create a meaningful and impactful employee experience for Grady employees.

The consultant will deliver on projects and initiatives that help to measure and drive action around engagement, inclusion, and work experience. The consultant will contribute to the work experience strategy, create and maintain trusted working relationships across the organization to identify and share programs and best practices that shape a positive employee experience.

Education

Required – Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business Administration, or a related field

Work Experience

  • Required – 2-5 years’ experience in employee engagement, organizational development, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and using data to drive decision-making within HR or employee engagement contexts.
  • Experience leading large-Scale employee (work) experience or culture improvement projects.
  • Preferred – Experience with human-centered design approaches to employee experience.
  • Experience using different diagnostic methodologies (Journey Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Customer or Employee Journey Mapping) is also helpful.
  • Healthcare Industry experience.

Certifications

  • Preferred – Certification in employee engagement, DEI, project management, process improvement or change management.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with HR systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Deep understanding of employee engagement theories, models, and strategies. Knowledge of best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion as it relates to employee experience.
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis, data visualization and translating numbers into compelling recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Works well in a team, with the ability to lead cross-functional projects and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Client Management: Experience in managing client relationships, setting clear expectations and effectively communicating with stakeholders
  • Project Management: Experience in leading and managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Problem Solving: Strong track record of identifying client problems, conducting deep analysis, and developing innovative and practical solutions.
  • Presentation & Communication Skills: Experience delivering clear, concise, and persuasive presentations to clients and stakeholders, ensuring complex information is accessible. Experience in developing reports, slide decks or other client deliverables that are both visually appealing and highly informative.
  • Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends, certifications, or methodologies (agile, design thinking, information design, I&B)

Job Duties

  • Analyze data (e.g., engagement surveys, pulse surveys, feedback sessions, exit interviews) to identify areas for enhancing employee experiences and pain points across the employee lifecycle.
  • Develop detailed reports and dashboards to communicate key findings and recommendations to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop strategies and initiatives to improve retention, engagement, and performance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to employee experience, inclusion programs, including turnover rates, engagement scores, and satisfaction levels.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve internal communication, recognition programs, and workplace guidelines that positively affect employee experience.
  • Research and stay updated on industry best practices for employee engagement, experience design, and workplace culture improvements.
  • Advise on frameworks and toolkits that can be used by managers and teams to improve employee experiences in their respective areas.
  • Co-facilitate information sessions, workshops, or webinars to share best practices with leaders and managers.
  • Work closely with HR Consultants and Directors and client group leadership teams to align employee experience initiatives with business goals.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental teams to ensure smooth execution of employee experience initiatives.
  • Other related duties as required.
