What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millman position at Grain Craft?
JOB SUMMARY:
- This job is required to control the equipment and processes necessary to deliver the appropriate wheat to mill for grinding. This position will be on rotating shifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Willing to move up through all job classifications in the Milling Department
- Ability to maintain assigned work areas in a clean and sanitary condition
- Ability to be of assistance to other personnel in the mill when needed
- Ability to work and learn sifter flow after having suitable instruction and training
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be willing to relieve as needed in departments other than the mill
- Determines if wheat cleaning and distribution equipment is operating properly
- Determine if wheat protein specifications are correct for wheat mix, and maintains correct wheat temper time
- Provides completed documentation as needed * Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Must be reliable.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED
- Highly committed and energetic approach to getting work accomplished
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed Must be capable of working comfortably at heights
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read, write, and interpret common instructions.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
