Job Title: Material Coordinator III
Location: Plaquemine, LA
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Director of Materials Management
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-4pm – some Saturdays as needed.

Position Summary:
The Entry-Level Material Coordinator/Logistics Coordinator is a junior professional who supports material management and logistics activities. They perform basic tasks under supervision and are responsible for learning and growing in the role. This tole will be in the Field at offshore locations or onshore refineries. In this role you will be responsible for material identification, material movements at site. Must be able to coordinate with construction crews to keep them on schedule. Will utilize the Material Management System and keep it up to date with locations and information. Must be able to understand basic piping and structural schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
· Material Handling: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing materials in designated locations.
· Data Entry: Enter data into inventory and logistics systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Documentation: Assist in maintaining shipping and inventory records and documentation.
· Communication: Communicate with team members and vendors regarding material and logistics matters.
· Support: Provide support to higher-level coordinators in various logistics and material management tasks.
Qualifications:
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License (Required)
- TWIC Card (Preferred)
- Required:
o High school diploma or equivalent.
o Willingness to learn and grow in a logistics and material management role.
o Basic computer skills.
o Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
