Job Title: Line Cook
Department: F & B Operations
Reports to: BOH Supervisor

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Location: Grand Lake Casino
Experience: Customer service experience required: at least three years cooking experience, previous Casino experience preferred
Licenses or Certifications:Must obtain an Oklahoma State ABLE Certification and License. Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a hot humid and loud environment for entire shifts. Ability to communicate clearly’ ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and oral instructions. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.; climb, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment: Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol-free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust, and noise.
Job Summary: Work directly with the FOH, prepares food items, maintains proper portions, and evaluates all food served, and food safety always, always maintains clean and safe area.
Special Working Conditions: This position requires: The flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; the ability to work in a hot and humid environment. Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills.
