FLSA: Part-Time/Non Exempt status (Hourly) Reports to: Transportation Coordinator Position Responsibilities:
Assisting with the planning and coordination of transportation procedures, schedules, and maintenance. Providing efficient solutions for bus-related issues.
Ensuring compliance with transport policies, regulations, and procedures.
Conducting regular vehicle maintenance checks and coordinating repairs when necessary.
Transport students to and from school-related activities in a safe manner.
Appropriately operate all vehicles and equipment in the fleet.
Communicate effectively with members of the school and community.
Handle buses and students in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to relate well to students.
Inspect the bus before and after each route or activity trip.
Maintain the bus in clean condition and inform the school of any routine maintenance or repairs required.
Adhere to Archdiocese health and safety policies Adhere to safety training and protocols daily, and take precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization, including but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donor's names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.
Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy is mandatory.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Education
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
License and Credentials
Valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger
Ability to pass drug and alcohol test
Ability to pass annual physical
Acceptable driving record: as required by the Texas Department of Public Safety
Ability to speak, read and write English
Must pass background check
Must be able to communicate effectively
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
