Overview
Grand View Health is an independent community hospital in Upper Bucks County, Sellersville, PA for the past 110 plus years. GVH is a Level II trauma center and offers full women's health, including obstetrics, gynecology, uro-gynecology, robotic surgery, and a breast care team.
Responsibilities
The Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner in OBGYN shall deliver comprehensive patient care for this designated patient population throughout the care continuum. The OBGYN APP will function as a clinical expert for this population and will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary and inter professional team to coordinate and deliver all aspects of care, including, but not limited to, inpatient consultations, physical examinations, provisioning orders, participating in daily hospital rounding, first assistance operating room duties and discharge planning. The APP will perform patient assessments and coordinate patient management autonomously, with physician collaboration and supervision as appropriate, and in accordance with hospital policies and Pennsylvania State legislation. The APP's scope of practice includes the following elements: direct patient care, medical and procedural intervention, operative first assistance, education, performance and quality improvement.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Master's Degree graduate of an AMA accredited Physician Assistant Program required, or
