JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Developer role is to develop and implement all aspects of multi-scale customer-facing installation and conversion projects and is directly responsible for initiating, planning, execution, control, quality, and directing all efforts related to the successful and profitable implementation of projects – spanning technical, schedule, costs and contract areas of assigned projects. This is a high profile and highly visible position that assists with the management of our financial institution customer relationships, has responsibility for driving customer satisfaction, is the primary customer point of contact, as it relates to specific projects, is the ‘face’ of NextBranch to the customer, and the voice of the customer into NextBranch. The Project Developer will manage multiple projects, in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Projects are typically related to complex systems (software and hardware) to support ATM applications and tools, in highly technical automated banking systems.
This position will manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and Grant Victor control guidelines throughout the full deployment life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. In addition, it is expected that this person will contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. The Project Developer has the authority to run the project and lead the project on a day-to-day basis. He or she will verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop, manage and implement a portfolio of unique and complex initiatives to financial institution customers.
- Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.

Define the Statement of Work and Specifications for each unique program offering to ensure it meets customer’s and NextBranch’s needs.
- Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
- Work independently, creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs and identify and implement solutions to keep project moving forward.
- Act as an internal quality control check for the project.
- Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including senior level customer executives, project team and key stakeholders
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing, managing and implementing ATM outsourcing solutions to financial institution clients.
- Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
- Strong Project Management skills and understanding of technology, such as software, hardware, networking, systems development, and implementation.
- Successful experience in delivering professional services such as consulting, system implementation, software integration and support.
- Strong understanding of ATM outsourcing, financial institution ATM operations, teller functions, and how the banking transaction environment operates as it relates to NextBranch products.
- Ability to review building site surveys and developh creative solutions for ATM placements including retrofitting specifications.
- Extensive knowledge using project management systems such as Smartsheet, Quickbase or MS Projects.
