Bus Person

JOB SUMMARY:The primary responsibility of the Busperson is to provide prompt, courteous service to restaurant patrons and ensure guests are satisfied with their dining experience by assisting Food Servers as necessary.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Make sure that all tables are set completely both before and after shift.
• Make sure all areas are clean and free of debris.
• Polish all glassware as necessary.
• Assist Food Servers in service of beverages, include coffee & tea at end of meal.
• Maintain tables throughout service, clearing beverages.
• Clearing and scraping all dishes after clearing a table.
• Stock all side stations with linen and proper glassware.
• Service and explanation of bread to guests.
• Maintain professional demeanor throughout service, assisting servers as necessary.
• Change tablecloth and reset tables as quickly as possible after guests leave the restaurant and reset tables.
• Move tables throughout dining room in order to be able to set up and accommodate need of the reservations., including the patio seating.
• Cleaning of Dining room area floors, restrooms.
• Food running and packing to-go orders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.
• Must be able to comprehend ticket items.
• Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
• Work requires an attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
