Job Summary/Description:
This part-time job (25 hrs/week) entails helping to produce two-and-a-half hour weekday morning newscasts and learning the producer's role sufficiently to serve as a fill-in for that position. There are also opportunities to fill-in during other shifts. The job also requires posting materials to social media and station website.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Editing video for air and website
-Sending materials to newscast rundowns
-Timing newscasts
-Assisting with studio prep
-Posting materials to the website and social media
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Educational background in electronic mass media/journalism or related discipline
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred
