After School Teacher for Pre-K - Hours: 2:30pm - 8pm ( $1.00/hr closing bonus pay.)
Pay Structure:
- Starting Pay - $12/hr
- Paraprofessional Certificate - $14/hr
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential - $15/hr
- ECCE Technical College Certificate (TCC) - $16/hr
- AA Non-ECE related Degree - $16/hr
- AA in ECE - $17/hr
- BA Non-ECE related Degree - $17/hr
- BA in ECE - $18/hr
- MA Non-ECE related Degree - $19/hr
- MA in ECE - $20/hr
- All closing positions working until 8pm add an additional $1.00/hr

Requirements to be a Child Care Teacher at our center:
- Must be at least 18 years old.

Child Care Teacher Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for our childcare teacher positions include, but may not be limited to the following:
1. Manage the classroom program.
2. Create and Follow weekly lesson plans.
3. Assist with diapering or potty training based on classroom.
4. Assist with each child's development, conduct observations, and maintain records.
5. Provides feedback to co-teacher with regards to classroom activities and each child's development.
6. Positive communication with all parents and staff.
7. Works with Director and parents to solve any potential problems in the classroom concern behavior issues and/or academic challenges.
8. Maintains appropriate records on each child.
9. Take daily attendance.
10. Provide daily headcount to Cook of all meals served.
11. Follow posted classroom schedule at all times.
12. Maintain a clean and hazard-free classroom at all times.
13. Participates in center events.
14. Assists in the training of other staff members.
15. Additional duties as assigned.
16. Must be able to lift at least 30lbs from floor to standing.
17. Must be able to sweep, mop, clean, and disinfect classroom daily.
18. Must be able to hear and see to respond to children's needs in a quick manner.
As a teacher in this childcare center, you are expected to maintain a positive and professional attitude and appearance at all times. Teamwork is important and you are expected to be a cooperative team member.
