What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sous Chef position at Great Maple?
We are a Modern American Eatery celebrating the classics with a fun element. As the Sous Chef, you will integral and responsible for the success of the restaurant operations. As a growing restaurant group, we are looking for an experienced leader that want to be part of the growth and success!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have command of the English language.
- Able to stand for 8 hours.
- Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Maintain an up to date, serve safe or comprise food handler's certification.
- 2 years minimum experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
- Able to lift at least 60 pounds.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Prepares all food related projects including Holidays, Off-site Events, dining room, and special parties.
- Supervises the preparation of all food items.
- Assist with hires and trains new employees to the department.
- Assists with making schedules according to demands.
- Supervises and evaluates all departmental personnel.
- Communicates with the FOH Management team.
- Maintains records of personnel performance, labor cost, sickness, and overtime in the kitchen.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
- Responsible for maintaining Food Costs and COGS.

Salary : $68,640 - $72,000
