Great River Energy has an opening for a Warehouse Attendant position to receive and issue material, inventory spare parts and conduct material handling. This position will also perform warehouse outside responsibilities including retrieving materials from remote buildings, housekeeping/yard maintenance, maintain forklifts and cleaning equipment, perform environmental checks on universal waste, etc.

Responsibilities:
-Receive and ship inventory and non-inventory materials
-Issue and/or dispense inventory and consumable materials from warehouse
-Perform warehouse outside responsibilities
-Perform other duties to maintain accurate and efficient warehouse operation
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years warehousing experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Working conditions:
Working conditions will be indoors and outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather conditions of extreme cold or heat. There will be occasional overnight travel, overtime and/or working weekends. Must be able to travel to various locations throughout the plant and facility grounds. Conditions in the plant and facility grounds may include extreme temperatures, noise levels, and heights. This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds frequently and 21-50 pounds occasionally. Climb, balance, work at heights and work with arms above your head occasionally. Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist and squat, work on even and uneven surfaces. Ability to frequently push, pull, carry, grasp and finger objects. Subject to occasional vibration and hazards and on occasion exposed to fumes, dust or mist. Must have vision ability to encompass close-up and distant work, and the ability to speak and hear.
