QVUUSD 7-12 schools are looking for a long-term substitute Literacy Interventionist. This position includes small group targeted intervention across grades 7-12. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: Knowledge of research based best practices. Guide teachers to collect and analyze data and develop action plans in response to determined student needs. Knowledge of the Common Core. Experience in or knowledge of a Professional Learning Community. Knowledge of best practices regarding student management protocols. Knowledge of assessments and use of data to inform instruction. Evidence of integrating technology into the learning environment. Evidence of strong connection with students and families. Deep knowledge of reading, writing and literacy development.
