Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Older Toddler Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Provide nurturing care to toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Facilitate daily activities that promote cognitive, social, and motor skills development.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, achievements, and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive environment for children with disabilities.
- Administer first aid as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is essential; experience with toddlers is a plus.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to various learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of first aid practices; certification is preferred but not required.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for educating young children.
- Experience working with students who have disabilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
