What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Painter position at Green Machine Sales LLC?
Green Conveyor and Machine Group LLC, is looking for a Heavy Equipment Painter. The painter will be responsible for the application of a wide range of industrial liquid coatings which may include one, three-coat procedures to manufactured recycling components.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform "power-wash" and other pre-painting activities on parts and equipment in preparation for painting
- Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal
- Utilize instrumentation to measure painting parameter to ensure compliance with specifications
- Responsible for the application of industrial coatings in confined spaces
- Assist to appropriately rig large objects for the purpose of moving them during painting application
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment and observe good safety habits
- Adhere to all OSHA and HazMat Procedures with respect to the storage and handling of painting materials
- Ensure completed work has been done in a quality manner
- Must be able to reliably commute to our factory in Whitney Point, NY
Physical Requirements:
- Must be capable of standing or walking for hours continuously
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. repeatedly throughout shift
- Is capable of performing substantial repetitive motions such as motions of the wrists, hands, arms, waist, and legs for continuous hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
