Ab Initio Developer

1. Design and develop ETL processes using Ab Initio to support data warehousing and data integration projects.

• Create technical specifications and detailed design documents based on business requirements.
• Develop and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

2. Data Integration:

• Integrate data from various sources, including databases, flat files, and external systems.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data processing lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support real-time and batch data processing.

3. Performance Optimization:

• Optimize ETL processes for maximum performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to ETL processes.
• Implement best practices for data processing and ETL design.

4. Testing and Validation:

• Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing of ETL processes.
• Ensure all solutions are tested thoroughly and meet quality standards before deployment.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve any issues that arise.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with data architects to design data models and database structures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, design specifications, and operational procedures.
• Create and deliver reports and presentations on ETL process performance and outcomes.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
