Greenbrook is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist who will play a vital role in working to ensure our patients are able to utilize their health insurance benefits to access the mental health services they seek. This role is responsible for identifying and reporting patient eligibility.
This position is full-time (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm) and will be located in our Creve Coeur center. We offer a competitive pay range of $19-21 / hour (based on education level and prior experience) PLUS a generous benefits package including 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and medical / dental / vision benefits.
Responsibilities :
- Review and verify insurance coverage and mental health benefits (in-network providers, coverage details for patients, pre-authorization requirements).
- Identify specific insurance requirements to complete the verification process.
- Work collaboratively with insurance companies to secure coverage quotes for patients' mental health treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough insurance research to identify the most cost-effective options for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Provide clear and concise documentation of insurance payer plans including patient coverage, cost share, access, and provider options.
- Identify and report trends and delays with reimbursements.
- Collaborate with the management and clinical teams to identify potential insurance barriers and develop solutions to expedite and ensure patient access.
