Landscape Crew Leader

Pay depends on experience - $15 /hr

Greenscape Enterprises is a family-owned and operated company that specializes in commercial and residential landscaping services. With years of experience in maintenance, construction, snow and ice, seasonal decor and more, our team of dedicated professionals is fit for projects of all kinds.

Greenscape is currently looking to hire a Landscape Crew Leader. Skills, traits, and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for the daily scheduled job assigned by the Field Supervisor; must provide quality service that meets or exceeds Greenscape Enterprises or customer expectations.
• Accountable for fulfilling ANY four-season maintenance needs requested by management or supervisors if scheduled landscape maintenance is fulfilled or unassigned for the work day.
• Obligated to assign on-site training, quality control, punctuality and safety of all landscaping team members designated to the Landscape Crew Leader.
• Shows attention to detail, displays effective communication with subordinates, peers, customers and designated manager; possess a friendly, customer service minded attitude and conducts themselves in a professional manner.
• Answerable for the actions of individuals within respective crew, building decisions on sound judgement; must work with a sense of urgency in performing daily job duties, demonstrating a positive attitude through cooperation.
• Required to complete appropriate paperwork and utilize work order programs effectively and efficiently.
• Ensures that landscape team members have sufficient resources and materials available for DAILY tasks; briefs the Field supervisor on request and recommendations to further benefit timing, efficiency and needs.
• Oversees the use of personal protective equipment and practices; completes accident/incident reports, communicating appropriately with the office staff and Mowing Supervisor.
• Maintains truck and equipment safety as a priority BEFORE or AFTER scheduled shift. Equipment maintenance includes, but is not limited to: oil and fluid checks, tire pressure, proper trailer connection, lights and truck cleanliness.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience in managing a crew of 2 or 3.
• Driving a truck with a trailer
• Proficient with all Landscaping equipment and tools to preform job duties

Must Have:

• Applicants must have at least 2 year of experience in landscaping..
• Valid driver's license and no DUIs.
