Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Engineer (QE) to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. This role focuses on enhancing and validating API and integration workloads through automated testing. As a Senior QE, you will play a critical role in writing, maintaining, and expanding API and integration test suites using C#. Your work will directly contribute to the speed and productivity of development cycles and the delivery of high-quality solutions to the business.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated unit and integration tests for APIs using C#.
• Expand the API and integration test suite to ensure comprehensive coverage of current and future features.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to identify and mitigate defects and regressions early in the development process.
• Optimize testing workflows to support rapid development loops while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Apply a deep understanding of the HTTP protocol in testing API interactions and ensuring robust communication between systems.
• Mentor and collaborate with team members, ensuring alignment on best practices in API testing and automation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software development with a strong emphasis on automated testing.
• Expert knowledge of the HTTP protocol as it relates to API development and testing.
• Proficiency in writing coded tests for APIs and integrations, particularly in C#.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and approaches, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
• Experience collaborating in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with API testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
