What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor - Kennewick ACE Hardware position at GRIGG ENTERPRISES INC?
Our Floor Supervisors provide an amazing customer experience through helpful and friendly service that meets customer needs and encourages customers to make Grigg’s/ACE Hardware their store of choice.
Department Supervisors solve problems for our customers and associates. They are responsible for daily store operations, in-store merchandising, and administrative functions within the department and store. This key role leads and trains staff to provide exceptional customer service.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Learning and exemplify the Helpful Ready policy of Grigg’s/ACE Hardware.
- Handle opening and closing procedures for the store.
- Coach, guide, and train associates on front-end and back-end procedures.
- Ensure company and store policies are upheld.
- Support inventory control and enforcement of loss prevention policies.
- Maintain store appearance and presentation.
- Communicate with coworkers and delegate as needed.
- Provide support to all areas of the store.
- Report any inventory or pricing discrepancies or issues to management.
- Assist customers in multiple service areas, including paint, STIHL power tools, hardware, plumbing, gardening, and more.
- Help customers with special orders, enter customer information for follow-up, and follow through on sales.
- Availability to a varying work schedule of open, closing, weekends, and holidays.
