Maintenance Technician
Summary: To maintain the facility, office, grounds and equipment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following, but other duties may be assigned.
Maintain a 440,000 sq. ft. warehouse, transportation, corporate, truck shop and grounds.
Maintain 4,220 feet of conveyer.
Maintain air conditioning units.
Maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers
Maintain batteries that are watered weekly, as well as chargers
Maintain roll up doors and ramps
Maintain grocery buggies.
Maintain fire extinguishers, ladders, hoist, fire risers and emergency lights monthly
Maintain cigarette stamping equipment - cutter, stampers, and recasers.
Welding, cutting, fabrication, plumbing, carpenter work and painting; replace lights and electrical repair.

Education and/or Experience:
Two years related experience or training.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and common fractions.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Refrigeration and Electrical License preferred.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, manlift, saws, paint sprayers, refrigeration gauges, torches,
evacuation machine, recovery machine, electric meters.
