Sidewalk Crew Member

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Sidewalk Shovelers to assist in keeping our sidewalks clear of snow, ice, and debris during the winter months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe passage for pedestrians by removing snow and ice from designated areas, maintaining cleanliness, and preventing hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shovel snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, and other pedestrian areas.
• Apply salt or other de-icing agents to prevent accumulation of snow and ice.
• Ensure all walkways are cleared promptly to avoid accidents and provide safe access.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment for snow removal (shovels, snow blowers, salt spreaders).
• Monitor and report any areas that require additional attention.
• Perform routine checks to ensure no remaining ice or snow hazards.
• Maintain and store tools and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
• Assist with other winter maintenance duties as needed, including salting driveways or entryways.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
