Sandblaster needed to sandblast structural steel, plate steel and sheet metal to a profile prior to paint.
Job Duties
- Sandblast structural steel, plate steel and sheet metal to a profile prior to paint
- Properly wear personal protective equipment and follow procedure to avoid injury and damage
- Clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and identify and correct potentially hazardous conditions
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Work as a team player
- Work nights or weekends if required by the work load
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor
- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to work as an effective member of a team and promote a positive working environment
- Energetic and motivated to get a job completed accurately and efficiently
- Must have valid driver’s license and second form of ID
- Prior sandblaster experience a plus but not mandatory
