Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a phlebotomy certification and have at least one year of relevant experience in phlebotomy or sample collection. This full-time role requires an outgoing personality and a strong work ethic, thriving in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
· Collect urine samples for drug screening and PCR testing.
· Order and maintain supplies necessary for testing.
· Prepare and send out specimens via FedEx, ensuring accurate tracking.
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and complete HIPAA training upon hire.
· Perform additional duties as assigned to support the lab’s operations.
· Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Valid phlebotomy certification/license is necessary.
· Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in phlebotomy, sample collection, or medical assisting.
· Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
· Must possess reliable transportation and a clean driving record (for mobile collectors).
· Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
· Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
Pay/Benefits:
· Pay Rate: $19.00/hour for in-clinic collectors
