GTI Energy is searching for an Intern that will assist in the execution of various research projects in our Zero Emission Systems group. These tasks may include but will not be limited to assisting in the performance of engineering design, assisting with various test setups, test execution, data gathering, and documentation.

Work Location
The position will be based in the Chicagoland area at the GTI Energy Headquarters. While local candidates are preferred, GTI Energy does provide seasonal housing assistance for the right candidate.
Primary Responsibilities
This position will include performing engineering analysis tasks for various research projects, learning and executing test procedures and performing prototype testing. The selected candidate will analyze test results, participate in prototype part builds, and assist in all engineering functions on a variety of research projects. Work covers a wide area of technical research including designing mechanical, electro-mechanical, and thermodynamic systems, testing, and analysis. There will be other duties to perform as duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency
The pay range for this position is $17 - $28 USD per hour. This pay range is GTI Energy's good faith estimate, and the actual pay may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, GTI Energy's business or organizational needs and an individual's relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and / or performance. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus. The range listed is just one component of GTI Energy's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, paid time off, and region-specific benefits.
