This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly in settings such as geriatrics, medical-surgical units, and various healthcare environments including teaching hospitals and trauma centers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Monitor and document client health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Administer medication reminders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care for clients in various settings such as inpatient units or clinics.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status
- Support clients during medical appointments or procedures as needed.
Experience

Qualifications
- A compassionate and caring nature
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
- Current TB test and CPR certification
Education
- High school diploma or Equilavnt - HSE/GED
