Class Title: Security Site Supervisor

Reports To: Area Director

Supervision Exercised: Shift Supervisors and Security Officer

General Duties:

• Leads by example. Taking ownership of the site.
• Serves as the client's first point of contact to address issues identified.
• Maintains open communication with the client to ensure that information is delivered in a timely manner.
• Oversees the daily operations ensuring all assignments are completed per protocols.
• Ensures employee schedule is posted at a minimum of 14 days in advance.
• Ensures all shifts are covered and assists in covering shifts as a last resort.
• Monitors staffing levels and determines if hiring is needed to fill shifts and avoid OT.
• Respond to calls or texts from employees in a timely manner.
• Keep the schedule and timesheets up to date, avoiding backlog of changes needed.
• Ensures employees are clocking in and out as they should.
• Ensures all timesheets are locked and correct every Monday by 9AM.
• Reviews officer’s activities and reports daily.
• Ensures reports written by officers are satisfactory to GuardLogic standard.
• Coaches, mentors, and/or corrects subordinates with deficiencies.
• Patrols and monitors facility buildings and grounds.
• Conducts vehicle patrols of facility grounds and parking lots
• Identifies, addresses, and reports any security and maintenance issues identified.
• Maintains, prepares, and submits all appropriate logs, reports, files, and documentation relative to assigned area.
• Monitors security cameras.
• Provides assistance and direction to facility visitors and guests.
• Performs various site-specific duties and tasks assigned by the client.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Google Workspace tools, encompassing Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets, in addition to familiarity with advanced scheduling and reporting software.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Physical demands include sitting, standing, lifting, carrying, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Must have the strength and agility to allow the employee to perform job duties which would be found at the level of Light work (i.e. exerting 5-20 pounds of force) and including occasional medium work (i.e. exerting up to 50 pounds of force).
• Working conditions can include exposure to dangerous and/or hazardous situations, continuous noises, bright lights, contagious diseases, humid surroundings, extreme hot or cold temperatures, dust, and odors.

Education, Training and Experience Required:

• Completion of high school or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Will be required to possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to operate GuardLogic and/or client-provided vehicles in a safe, prudent, and responsible manner.

Other Requirements:

• All positions require drug testing before employment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must not have been convicted of a felony or have current pending felony charges.
• Subject to shift work, extended duty hours, holiday, and weekend duty.
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a flu shot.
