The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting legal research, impartial hearings, student suspension hearings, and assisting with active cases in state and federal court.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Special Education Law
- Experience in impartial hearings
- Proficiency in legal research
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar
- Experience with representing schools, educational institutions, or local governments is a plus but not required.
